Job Description:
The Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, preparing delicious meals, managing staff, and ensuring all dishes meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent culinary knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare a variety of meals according to company standards and menus.
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Ensure food is prepared safely, efficiently, and attractively.
Monitor stock levels and order supplies when necessary.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Create new and appealing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage portion control, reduce waste, and ensure cost-effective operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Degree, Diploma, or SHS Certificate.
Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Cook in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or catering company.
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and food presentation.
Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
Creativity and passion for food innovation.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must be punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
